Passenger vehicle restraint statistics from The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration were recently released from a study that took place from 2001 to 2010.  While the study shows that seatbelt and other restraint use has risen to 85% among accident victims, the number of lives that could have been saved still lies in the thousands.  This infographic highlights the troubling facts about unrestrained occupants and may make you think twice before skipping a seatbelt the next time you get into a car.
