Gordon Ramsay’s style originated with classic French cooking.  In 1993 Gordon became chef of a new restaurant called Aubergine and within three years of his employment, Aubergine was awarded two Michelin stars.  In 1998 Gordon opened Gordon Ramsay, the first in a long line of new restaurants that Gordon has established.  Some include London’s most high profile dining experiences including Gordon Ramsay at Claridges’s, Petrus and the iconic Savoy Grill.  Unfortunately, Ramsay’s prowess for establishing restaurants does not resonate with his ability to save them from going under.  A large percentage of the restaurants that were showcased on “Kitchen Nightmares” have gone out of business or have been sold.
