The following graphic is a representation of trees planted throughout San Francisco. The data was collected online from data.sfgov.org and Friends of the Urban Forest.  Each dot on the map represents one tree, with darker areas being more populated.  The top 7 most common trees are listed on the right and are represented on the map with a colored dot.  Along with the names and image, the number of documented trees is represented next to each species by the exact number and a tree graphic representing that number.  One tree is equal to 100 documented trees.  Also not, that all 7 of the most common trees are non-native to San Francisco.
